Weather
Policy
Captain Elder will make the final determination whether or not Teacher's
Pet will sail. Late departures or early returns may also be necessary
due to inclement weather. If you have any concerns, feel free to
contact us a day or two prior to the trip for current weather conditions.
If a trip is cancelled due to weather (mainly wind) Captain Elder
will either refund the deposit or rebook the trip, 10 days notice
is needed or the deposit is forfeited.

Game
The ducks taken during your trip belong to your hunting party. Please
respect our natural resources and take only the amount of ducks
you will use.

Cleaning
Often times, there are folks at the docks that will clean your game
for a nominal fee which is not included in the cost of your trip.
If you prefer to do the cleaning yourself, cleaning stations are
available at the dock.

Tipping
The mate works for tips. While it is at your discretion, the average
tip for a mate is between 15-20% of the cost of the trip. It's a
nice way to say "thanks!" for his hard work before, during
and after your trip.
